• Good knowledge in engineering and quality 
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes

PRIMARY PURPOSE: 

Assist department managers, together with the supervisor, in overseeing the Advanced Quality Plan to ensure operations achieve quality, productivity, and output goals, and drive continuous improvement. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Customer Quality Standards: Ensure customer quality standards and instructions are applied.
• Quality Control Plan: Participate in creating quality control plans, plan reviews, PFMEA, quality standards, and inspection instructions. Provide training to the quality team and related departments on standards and instructions.
• PPAP Implementation: Coordinate PPAP implementation.
• Quality Monitoring: Monitor customer quality requirements. Control and improve defect rates, scraps, material consumption, and sorting costs. Communicate with related departments, sales, and customers regarding quality issues and follow up on improvement actions.
• Quality Meetings: Participate in quality meetings at the plant and/or with customers. Report on defect analysis, abnormality reports, follow-up actions, customer complaints and claims, sorting, and PFMEA.
• Trial Runs and New Product Development: Participate in trial runs, transfer components, products, and new product development.
• Performance Assessment: Assess subordinate performance.
• Goal Alignment: Clearly understand personal and section goals to contribute to achieving quality and delivery objectives.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with rules, procedures, and requirements in terms of:
  6S & KAIZEN
  Environmental Health Safety
  RBA & Social Responsibility
  Protection of company assets
• Quality Management Systems: Understand, support, and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO), and Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.
